Haryana to recruit 600 coaches

Chandigarh: Haryana government would soon recruit 600 new coaches to enable sportspersons in the state to perform better, said finance minister Capt. Abhimanyu, who was speaking at the closing ceremony of four-day Senior State Football Championship in Gurugram.

Haryana government would soon recruit 600 new coaches to enable sportspersons in the state to perform better, said finance minister Capt. Abhimanyu, who was speaking at the closing ceremony of four-day Senior State Football Championship in Gurugram.

Fatehabad beat Rohtak 3-0 to win the football championship and pocketed Rs 1.51 lakh as the cash prize. 

Menawhile, chief minister Manohar Lal announced that any coach of Haryana participating in the Olympics as referee  would  be awarded Rs 15 lakh by the state government. The incentive would be on the pattern of the motivation being given to the sportspersons participating in the Olympics. — TNS
