Jammu, March 26

A direct flight from Jammu to Chandigarh was introduced today. The flight will be operated by Indigo Airlines, which will operate daily from Jammu to Chandigarh and back.

The flight will depart from Chandigarh at 2.10 pm and will arrive in Jammu at 2.50 pm.

Then, it will take off from Jammu at 3.25 pm and will land in Chandigarh at 4.05 pm.

The first flight, the Airbus A320, having a capacity of 180 passengers, was received at the Jammu airport by airport director Devender Kumar Gautam, SSP, anti-hijacking, Rajinder Gupta along with the station manager of Indigo Airlines.

The airport director said in the coming days, a few more destinations like Kolkata and Amritsar would also be connected with Jammu via direct flights.
