CHANDIGARH: Tribune Model School in association with Lioness Club and Prakash Memorial organised paper-reading and art competitions and a nukkad natak to spread awareness about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chandigarh, December 22

Tribune Model School in association with Lioness Club and Prakash Memorial organised paper-reading and art competitions and a nukkad natak to spread awareness about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Students voiced the need to identify responsibilities as citizens of the progressing nation and continue to motivate one and all.

Lioness Savita Kohli, who was the chief guest, graced the occasion with other dignitaries. Dr SS Bhamra, project chairperson, Dr Omdutt Sharma and Anjana Sharma of the Prakash Memorial sponsored prizes in various categories.

Satyam Chaturvedi, Kunal, Rupali, Ayush Raikhy and Kumkum emerged outstanding students in sports. Himanshu, Niharika, Bhaumik, Nikhil, Romi and Kashish excelled in yoga while Ritika, Priyanka, Divyanshu, Deepali and Sahil in music emerged as outstanding students.

Vandana Saxena, principal of the school, congratulated the winners and motivated them to take the campaign forward in its true spirit.
