KAITHAL: In view of the black day to be observed by the AIJASS tomorrow, the district administration has taken special measures to maintain law and order.

In view of the black day to be observed by the AIJASS tomorrow, the district administration has taken special measures to maintain law and order.

Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Joon said 22 nakas would be set up in the district and 25 riders and 10 PCRs deployed at sensitive places. Besides, jawans of the Reserve Police Force, women police personnel and RAF would be deployed in the district. As many as 30 duty magistrates, six fire brigade vehicles and five ambulances would be present at vulnerable spots to meet any eventuality, he added. The DC said information about any suspicious activity should be given on phone number 01746-222283. He said all government offices would remain open tomorrow. — OC
