Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will dedicate bridges constructed under the “Rahat” project in different villages of Udhampur to the public during her one-day tour to the city tomorrow. This is her first tour to the city after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state.

The Chief Minister will hand over 56 bridges constructed under the first and the second phase of the project. She will also inaugurate the third phase of the project at Battal Ballian at 10 am tomorrow.

She will interact with students of Government Higher Secondary School, Girls, Udhampur through video conferencing from the venue. She will also hold a meeting with heads of different departments and meet delegations of local people.

In a major boost to rural infrastructure development and strengthening the village panchayat, 114 foot bridges were constructed under the project in Udhampur.
