“INIFD Ludhiana Fashion Weekend is a confluence of the novice and veteran fashion designers at one podium. The fashion weekend is a prelude to the launch of the most desired, required and eagerly awaited fashion event in the Manchester of India. The show of creativity is indeed worth watching and proves that the institute not only imparts the best of education to its current students during their course, but also continues to maintain relationship with them and provides a platform to expand their business manifold once they launch themselves into the fashion market,” said Amardeep Lall, chairperson, INIFD, Ludhiana.

Designs from carpets, tattoos, traditional art and craft of Jaipur, Mughal architecture and nature inspired the budding designers to concoct a spectacular fashion display. The ethnic ensemble including an array of clothing line such as lehngas, palazzos, tunics and shervanis was highly eulogised by the cognoscenti of the city.
