Rohit Vemula remembered

Dehradun, January 19

Lekhraj, former president of DAV (PG) College students’ union, said the Central government should draft a proposal to improve basic and higher education system across the state. Lekhraj, while paying homage to Rohit Vemula here yesterday, said more beneficiary schemes should be introduced by the government for students.

He said members of different students unions should work together to build pressure on the Union government to improve education system in the country. —TNS
