Rs 6.82 cr for school fee refund

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has sanctioned over Rs 6.82 crore for reimbursement of school fee under Rule 134-A for students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections and Below Poverty Line admitted to private schools for the year 2015-16.

The Haryana Government has sanctioned over Rs 6.82 crore for reimbursement of school fee under Rule 134-A for students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections and Below Poverty Line admitted to private schools for the year 2015-16.

While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Elementary Education Department said the fee would be reimbursed at the rate of Rs 200 per student of Classes II to V and Rs 300 per student of Classes VI to VIII of the private schools in rural areas. Similarly, the fee of students of private schools in urban areas, within the MC limits, would be reimbursed at a rate of Rs 300 per student of Classes II to V and Rs 400 per student of Classes VI to VIII as per budgetary provisions for the year 2016-17.
