Sale of tickets for D’sala Test begins today

DHARAMSALA: Counter sale of tickets for fourth and last Test match of the Border- Gavaskar trophy to be played between India and Australia here will begin tomorrow.

Counter sale of tickets for fourth and last Test match of the Border- Gavaskar trophy to be played between India and Australia here will begin tomorrow. The box office will remain open from 10am to 6am at Dharamsala stadium, said Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) spokesperson Sanjay Sharma in a press release issued here. “Spectators who have booked their tickets online can get delivery from the ticket counter at the HPCA stadium,” he added.

The tickets for match are priced at Rs 200, Rs 250, Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500 according the stand category. Full five-day package of highest category stand (corporate box) is priced at Rs 30,000.

The India- Australia contest is the first Test to be played at Dharamsala. Considered among the world’s most beautiful cricketing venues, the Dharamsala stadium was approved as a Test venue by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in November 2015. Team India is scheduled to arrive here on March 21 while Australian team will reach the next day. Both the teams will practice at the HPCA stadium for two days before the match.

Meanwhile, the HPCA has launched a publicity vehicle for promotion of the match. The vehicle, that will tour entire district Kangra, was flagged off from the HPCA Stadium.
