Chandigarh: A skill development programme for youth and children of a colony in Sector 25, here, was inaugurated by IGP TS Luthra on Wednesday.



Chandigarh: A skill development programme for youth and children of a colony in Sector 25, here, was inaugurated by IGP TS Luthra on Wednesday. A community policing initiative, ‘Yuvashakti’ is a skill development training programme for the youth of colonies who will be imparted with skill-oriented courses such as plumbing and electrician. Initially, 108 youths will be trained over a period of two months free of cost. The IGP said these kinds of training would enable the youth to learn skilled courses, which would open door for their better livelihood. — TNS
