City marathoner Smriti Kathait has finished third in the recently held 100km ultra marathon — Sahyadri 100 Miler — in Mumbai.
The 23-year-old won the bronze medal after covering the distance from Nashik to Mumbai in 17 hours.
A student of the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Smriti had earlier successfully participated in six half marathons and an equal number of full marathons.
She has also participated in 1.12 hour stadium run, covering around 90kms.
