FAZILKA: Personnel of 190 Battalion of the Border Security Force have nabbed an Uttar Pradesh resident Amar Nath Maurya (42) roaming under suspicious circumstances at the barbed wire fencing near border outpost Khanpur in the Fazilka sector at 2.30 pm on Thursday.

Personnel of 190 Battalion of the Border Security Force have nabbed an Uttar Pradesh resident Amar Nath Maurya (42) roaming under suspicious circumstances at the barbed wire fencing near border outpost Khanpur in the Fazilka sector at 2.30 pm on Thursday. Nothing objectionable was seized from him. He was handed over to Sadar Police, Fazilka. Police sources said Amar is a resident of UP’s Pratapgarh district. Sources said that Amar boarded a Fazilka-bound train from an unknown town. His parents have been informed, said the police. — OC
