Differences between Ambala MP Rattan Lal Kataria and Health Minister Anil Vij have come to the fore. Speaking to mediapersons here today, Kataria said that a conspiracy had been hatched against him in Ambala Cantonment and he would raise the issue with the party leadership.

Kataria said: “For the last 13 days, I have been coming to Ambala Cantonment and will come tomorrow also. I can’t do anything if someone is still saying that I don’t come here. It is not my fault. I have given my life to the party.”

“I have no dispute with anyone, but there is a fight for space. Vij is an established leader. I know his style of working for the last 30 years. I have made the party leadership aware of some issues. Baseless allegations are being levelled that I don’t give funds. I still have Rs 12.50 crore. I asked him to come with me and spend it with his own hands. Let him become a bigger leader than me,” he said.

The MP said: “I will not do anything which damages the party. I have heard that a signature campaign has been launched against me. If someone tries to crush me, I will not tolerate.”

He was accompanied by Minister of State for Labour and Employment Nayab Singh Saini and district BJP president Jagmohan Kumar.
