Chandigarh, July 3

The exodus from the INLD continued today with two senior leaders joining the BJP here.

Kulbhushan Goyal, INLD senior leader and party candidate from Panchkula in the 2014 Assembly elections, and Praveen Atray, state INLD spokesman, joined the BJP here. Rajinder Sharma, president of the Guest Teachers Sangh, also joined the party.

While welcoming the leaders into the party fold, state BJP chief Subhash Barala said more and more leaders from other parties were joining the BJP which showed that the party was getting stronger at the grassroots level.

Meanwhile in Rewari, district president of INLD’s youth wing Manvir Lamba along with his supporters on Wednesday joined the BJP in its office on the Garhi-Bolni road. The BJP district president Yogendra Paliwal welcomed him.
