Students, NGOs vow to cast vote

SONEPAT: Thousands of volunteers from different social and religious organisations, including students, ASHA workers and anganwadi workers on Saturday formed a human chain at Shree Jee International School and vowed to cast their vote in the Lok Sabha election.

Thousands of volunteers from different social and religious organisations, including students, ASHA workers and anganwadi workers on Saturday formed a human chain at Shree Jee International School and vowed to cast their vote in the Lok Sabha election.

Rajiv Ranjan, chief electoral officer, Haryana, administered oath to the people.

Dr Shaleen, district election officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, and Jaiveer Singh Arya, Additional DC, also appealed to the volunteers to not only cast their votes, but also motivate others to do so.
