Former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal’s grandson Bhavya Bishnoi (26) on Monday filed his nomination papers as a Congress candidate from the Hisar parliamentary constituency.

An MSc in contemporary India from St Antony’s College of Oxford University, Bhavya will take on the baton from his father Kuldeep Bishnoi, who has opted out of the contest to launch his son.

Kuldeep, his wife Renuka Bishnoi, state Congress president Ashok Tanwar and former minister Savitri Jindal were present in a roadshow taken out before filing the papers.
