KAITHAL: A team of the Civil Lines police raided a house in Amargarh Colony today and seized 52 boxes of country liquor.

A team of the Civil Lines police raided a house in Amargarh Colony today and seized 52 boxes of country liquor. The police also seized a Maruti car from the spot in which liquor boxes were kept. Kuldip, a resident of Chhatar village of Jind, was arrested from the spot.

ASI Randeep Singh said the youth used to purchase liquor on a discount and then supplied it to customers but he had no licence. The neighbours said the youths had taken the palatial house on rent but they were not aware about any illegal activity going on.
