4 die in Kinnaur mishap

SHIMLA: Four persons were killed and three injured when an HRTC bus fell into the Spiti river near Hango village in Kinnaur. The bus (HP 25 1658) was on its way from Reckong Peo to Hango Chuling when the mishap took place.

Four persons were killed and three injured when an HRTC bus fell into the Spiti river near Hango village in Kinnaur.

The bus (HP 25 1658) was on its way from Reckong Peo to Hango Chuling when the mishap took place.

The driver, conductor and two other persons die on the spot while the three critically injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital, Pooh.

According to the police, there were seven persons in the bus when the accident took place.

The deceased include driver Nand Lal, Bhagwan Dass of Leo, Udham Mani of Hango. The moment the news about the mishap spread, the villagers arrived and started rescue operation. — TNS
