SOLAN: Anurag Thakur, Hamirpur MP, said that the whole world was today looking up to the youth with hope as they have the potential to transform the world.

Anurag Thakur, Hamirpur MP, said that the whole world was today looking up to the youth with hope as they have the potential to transform the world.

He said India had the largest number of youth in the world and the country’s future was largely dependent on them. They were playing a pivotal role in making innovations in economic and social sphere and the union government was harnessing their power to bring about innovative transformation in the nation.

While interacting with the students at a private university at Baddi, Thakur answered a host of queries raised by the young audience. He also gave an account of the development initiatives undertaken by him in his constituency.

The Hamirpur MP said the youth can integrate and take the country forward on new path of development. He urged the young students to use their energy for the country’s development.

Anurag said under the able leadership of Narendra Modi the country had taken big strides in development. The nation was being recognized as an economic power in the world and it was being lauded for its achievements.

The university’s secretary Gaurav Jhunjhunwala earlier welcomed the MP and apprised him about the university’s achievements.
