SHIMLA: Development of Tattapani as centre for water and adventure sports will boost tourism in Shimla district.

Shimla, May 21

Development of Tattapani as centre for water and adventure sports will boost tourism in Shimla district.

Shimla is full of beautiful spots but it lacks a place where the tourist can enjoy water activities and Tattapani can be developed for this purpose, said president, Tourism Industry Stake Holders Association, Mohinder Seth.

He said the activities like jet skiing, parasailing, motorboat and river rafting would boost tourism, increasing the tourist inflow. Moreover, hot water springs were the unique selling proposition of Tattapani. Concerned over the short stay of tourists in Shimla, the association has urged the government to develop Tattapani as a place of tourist attraction around Shimla which will also create employment opportunities. — TNS
