Main road to D’sala needs repairs

In Dharamsala, the state government is metalling roads, which do not have even a single pothole.

In Dharamsala, the state government is metalling roads, which do not have even a single pothole. The sad part is that no efforts are being made to metal the main road to Dharamsala. Portions of the stretch have sunk in the last two years. These lead to frequent traffic jams. The government is not doing anything to improve the condition of the road despite the fact that it leads to the main tourist destination.

McLeodganj stinks, civic body authorities least bothered

We generally see political leaders and bureaucrats carrying out cleanliness drives to hog limelight. They are least bothered to do anything for places which really need attention. Same is the case with McLeodganj, which is visited by tourists from across the world. An overflowing dustbin near the main parking of McLeodganj emits foul smell. Anybody, who passes through the stretch, cannot escape the unbearable stink.

Nadaun-Hamirpur road in bad shape

The road leading to Nadaun from  Hamirpur is in bad shape. Most  vehicles break down on the stretch. There are huge potholes near  Bhumpal, Jalari and Bhatha. It seems that the authorities are waiting for some fatal mishap to take place. The  pradhan and politicians  should take steps.
