Former CM mourns Reasi landslide deaths

JAMMU: National Conference vice-president and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed grief and shock over the death of several persons in a tragic landslide accident at Sehar Baba in Reasi district of the Jammu region.

National Conference vice-president and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed grief and shock over the death of several persons in a tragic landslide accident at Sehar Baba in Reasi district of the Jammu region.

“My heart goes out to all those who lost their dear ones in the tragic incident,” Omar Abdullah said and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He also prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss. He wished immediate recovery to the injured.

NC provincial president Devender Singh Rana also expressed grief over the tragedy and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.

Rana also spoke to senior officials in the administration and sought specialised treatment of all the injured.
