Jammu: A two-day medical awareness-cum-screening camp on fatty liver was inaugurated by SP Vaid, Director General of Police, J&K, at the Jammu Airport on Tuesday.



Jammu: A two-day medical awareness-cum-screening camp on fatty liver was inaugurated by SP Vaid, Director General of Police, J&K, at the Jammu Airport on Tuesday.

Dr Bharat Bhushan Gupta, former professor and Head, Division of Gastroenterology, Government Medical College, Jammu, organised the camp as a commitment towards the social cause on the initiative of the SSP Anti-hijacking, Jammu, Rajinder Kumar Gupta, as a welfare measure for the police and allied agencies working at the airport. On this occasion, a large number of specialists performed medical tests, including fibrosis-scan, thyroid (T3, T4, TSH), liver function tests, hemoglobin, sugar, etc.
