13,968 qualify Class XII biannual BOSE exam of summer zone

JAMMU: Of the total 43,584 students, only 13,968 qualified the Higher Secondary Part-II biannual examination, 2019, of the summer zone (Jammu division), the results of which was declared by the J&K Board of School Education ((JKBOSE) on Friday.

Of the total 43,584 students, only 13,968 qualified the Higher Secondary Part-II biannual examination, 2019, of the summer zone (Jammu division), the results of which was declared by the J&K Board of School Education ((JKBOSE) on Friday.

The overall pass percentage stood at 32 per cent. As many as 28,125 students got to reappear in Class XII biannual board exams, while 1,491 failed. A total of 95 students secured distinction, whereas 2,028 got first division and 8,406 secured second division.

However, the overall pass percentage of the winter zone (Jammu province) was slightly better than the summer zone. The result was declared in July by the school education board.
