JAMMU:An Army soldier was killed and two others injured in a suspected IED blast near the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Jammu, November 17

An Army soldier was killed and two others injured in a suspected IED blast near the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir today.

The slain soldier has been identified as Havildar Santosh Kumar, a resident of Pura Bhadauria village in UP’s Agra district.

The suspected improvised explosive device blast occurred around 11 am in Pallanwalla area, around 60 km from the winter capital, when a truck carrying a patrol team was moving near LoC. — OC
