Congmen celebrate Jakhar’s victory

PHAGWARA: Congress activists, led by Harjit Singh Parmar, general secretary, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, today distributed sweets to celebrate the victory of the PPCC president, Sunil Jakhar, in the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha bypoll.

Congress activists, led by Harjit Singh Parmar, general secretary, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, today distributed sweets to celebrate the victory of the PPCC president, Sunil Jakhar, in the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha bypoll.

Parmar said the victory of the Congress was a verdict against the anti-people policies of the BJP.

Congress activists belonging to the factions of former minister, Joginder Singh Maan, Block Congress Committee (U) president, Sanjeev Bugga, BCC president, Daljit Raju, PPCC general secretary, Balbir Raja Sodhi, Sohan Lal Banga, former Union Minister, Santosh Chaudhary, and PPCC Spokesperson, Nimisha Mehta, also distributed sweets on the occasion.

Phillaur: Congress activists Santokh Singh Chaudhary, Vikramjit Singh, Gurwinder Singh Atwal, Amarjit Singh Samra, too, distributed sweets. They said the victory of the Congress was a referendum against the Central Government. — OC
