Ahead of the much-awaited India vs Pakistan ICC World Cup match tomorrow, almost all city hotels, restaurants and clubs have been decked up. The halls, lounges and dining places have been especially prepared to attract customers, especially the young and the old cricket buffs.

Doing something very differently, Hotel Fortune has dedicated one full hall for cricket match viewing. The hall has been given the look of a cricket stadium. Stands have been prepared for viewers to sit with their families with items for hooting and cheering in place. Behind the “stands”, a huge picture of cricket stadium has been put up for clicking selfies from while enjoying favourite food.

A cricket pitch too has been created in front of the screen with entire kit in place for kids and youth to take feel of the game while watching the match.

The hotel GM, Sabhasachi Chatterjee said, “Just as there is a break in the match and people go out to take refreshment, we have similar provision here. There will be food items laid outside and people will be able to pick their favourite snacks and drinks from the carts using coupons.”

Likewise, Throwback Story restaurant owner, Rishabh said, “We are preparing a range of food items tomorrow expecting more visitors, especially as it is a Sunday.” “Our schemes on beverages available only on weekdays will be extended for this Sunday. We want people to enjoy match and have fun,” he added.
