The 30th “Balidan divas” of Prof Ramakant Jalota, slain president of the Hindu Shiv Sena, and his close associate Vinod Gupta, was observed as the “Rashtriya Ekta Divas” at a function organised by the Shiv Sena (Bal Thackeray), Punjab, at Hanumangarhi on Tuesday.

Various speakers present on the occasion alleged that some anti-national forces were trying to divide Shiv Sena which will be next to impossible.

Sena leaders reiterated their stand against anti-national forces and terrorism. They strongly condemned the derogatory statement of AAP leader Sukhpal Khaira who wanted referendum on Khalistan.

Shiv Sena leader Rama Kant Jalota and Vinod Gupta were assassinated near Chiherru on June 19 in the year 1988.
