State BJP to launch statewide campaign against Cong

PHAGWARA: The Punjab BJP will launch a statewide campaign against the Congress-led Punjab Government with a slogan ‘Bajao dhol kholo pol’ from tomorrow.



Phagwara, March 17

The Punjab BJP will launch a statewide campaign against the Congress-led Punjab Government with a slogan ‘Bajao dhol kholo pol’ from tomorrow. This was stated by BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh and State Secretary Anil Sareen here today.

In separate press releases here today, they described the performance of Captain Amarinder Singh-led state government as a ‘Total failure’. They said the congress government had failed to fullfill any poll promise.As many as 430 farmers had committed suicide in the past one year. The promise to eradicate the menace of drug addiction had come as a cropper, and around five hundred farmers had committed suicide during one year of the congress rule, they added.

They alleged that law and order had deteriorated and civil and police machinery were playing in the hands of congressmen. They said that nothing could be initiated for Dalits and farmers. Chugh and Sareen have appealed to the people to be cautioned from the anti-people policies of the congress. OC
