JK Lakshmipat University has announced admissions open for BDes course-2019. This is a four-year, full-time programme with specialisations in Product Design, Interaction Design and Inter-disciplinary Design.  

Eligibility: Minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks (45 per cent for SC/ST Candidates), with minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognised Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to Plus II system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).The applicants are required to appear in one of the national level design admission tests, such as UCEED or NID DAT held in 2019. In case the candidate has not appeared for any national level design tests, they will have to appear in the JKLU Design Entrance Test (DET) to qualify for the programme.

MSc in Data Science for Politics & Policymaking

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, is inviting applications for MSc in Data Science for Politics and Policy making course starting in September 2019.

The course is designed to meet the growing demand for graduates with the ability to use big data to solve complex political and social problems. 

Eligibility: First or upper second-class Honours degree, or equivalent, in social science. Students with an UG degree having marks below 2.1 will be considered if there is evidence of work and/or life experience related to the content of the degree. 

Fee: £19,500 for international students for 2019/20

MSc Accounting, Governance and Financial Management

Sheffield University Management School, UK, is inviting applications for MSc Accounting, Governance and Financial Management course starting in September 2019.

Entry requirements: You will have a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject. Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in all components. 

How to apply: International students must accept offers within four weeks of receipt and pay a tuition fee deposit to confirm their place.

PG Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management 

Manav Rachna University (MRU) announced the commencement of admission to its PG Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management programme. This course is for teachers aspiring to take administrative roles like Head Mistress/Principal in schools and higher education organisations.

Eligibility: Pass with 50 per cent or more marks in aggregate in bachelor’s degree and/or in master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities. 

Selection criteria: Merit preparation / short listing of candidates shall be on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation as Qualifying Examination + GD/PI
