Singer Ranu Mondal, who became an overnight sensation with her singing skills, has made the headlines again— this time for her "terrible make up".

Mondal, the homeless woman who became a viral sensation after a video of her singing threw social media into a tizzy, is now at the centre of a meme-fest—Twitter has been abuzz with photos of her in a peach lehenga with overdone make-up.

In the picture, Mondal looks almost unrecognisable. Her layers of make-up has several netizens drawing parallels between her and characters from horror movies and comics.

From 'The Nun 2' to 'Joker 2.0', fans have brutally trolled the singer over her picture. 'Fake beauty', 'gora nikhaar' are some of the comments the picture has received on social media.

However, several users have appreciated her efforts.

Last week, the 59-year-old artiste made headlines for her supposed rude behaviour when she reportedly pushed away a fan trying to take a selfie with her.
