How does it feel to debut as a host?

I always thought hosting was a piece of cake, but it is very difficult. Hats off to people who have been pulling this off successfully for so many years. The audience has loved me in all my characters I have played till now, but now they will see the real me on India’s Best Judhwaah. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Is the show helping you in your real life?

Yes, totally. I think this is a great show for me, as I am learning so much about twins. As a father of twin daughters, nothing can beat the experience of getting to know twins so closely.

How has life been after becoming a father?

They have arrived with not just joy, but a lot of luck for the family. They are our lucky charms and I think life will only get better now. 

Have you injured your ankle on the shoot and still postponed a surgery?

I have to stand for hours together to shoot and since I am flat-footed, the entire stress goes to my ankle bone. Due to constant pressure, the bone is displaced, which causes a lot of pain. I have been advised to undergo surgery immediately, but owing to my professional commitments, I would not be able to do so for the next one month.

What are your upcoming projects?

Right now this show is my only priority.

Which is your favourite food?

I like homemade food and sandwiches. I also like Marwari food.

Your favourite Bollywood actors?

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are my favourite stars in Bollywood.
