Ludhiana, December 14

Four bike-borne persons looted Rs 1.5 lakh from a person at gunpoint on the Issnagari bridge late this evening.

After the police were informed about the incident, senior police officials, including ADCP-Investigation Rattan Singh Brar, ACP-West Central Mandeep Singh and Division 2 SHO Gurvinder Singh reached the spot along with CIA officials.

Victim Subash Dua, a resident of Kidwai Nagar, said he owned a polybags shop in Field Ganj. Today at around 9.30 pm, he was headed home on his car. The moment he reached the Issnagari bridge, four persons on two motorcycles stopped him.
