LUDHIANA: The Ludhiana District Basketball Association (LDBA) will be organising the District Basketball Championship for Sub-Junior Boys and Girls here at Guru Nanak Stadium from May 29 to 31.

The Ludhiana District Basketball Association (LDBA) will be organising the District Basketball Championship for Sub-Junior Boys and Girls here at Guru Nanak Stadium from May 29 to 31.

Teja Singh Dhaliwal, honorary general secretary, LDBA, said players born on or after January 1, 2006, could participate in this championship.

Players have been advised to bring their date of birth certificates in original. The certificates should be issued by the Registrar, Birth and Death, within a period of four years of birth, he said.

Entry fee of Rs500 per team would be charged. The schools or clubs can enter more than one team. Entries close on May 28 with basketball coaches Davinder Singh and Narinder Pal. For any enquiry, one can contact at mobile no. 9878119015. — OC
