GLADA e-auction yields Rs 3.29 cr

In a rather lukewarm response to e-auction of commercial, institutional sites and residential plots, the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) sold four commercial sites and one residential plot for a little more than Rs 3.29 crore against the total reserve price of Rs 3.37 crore (a premium of something like 0.6 per cent). In the auction which commenced on July 1 and concluded on July 10, on the block were 79 commercial sites, one institutional site and five residential plots with a reserve price tag of a whopping Rs 100 crore.

GLADA Estate Officer Sonam Chaudhry said one shop in Dhanadari Kalan Phase III (Dussehra Ground) was sold for Rs 51,95,859, a shop-cum-office (SCO) in Dhandari Kalan Phase IV for Rs 1,50,96.400, while two booths in Dugri Phase II fetched Rs 30,45,602 and Rs 29,29,904. A residential plot, measuring 206 sq mtr, in Sector 39-A on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road was sold at Rs 32,300 per sq mtr against its reserve price of Rs 32,150 per sq mtr (total sale price Rs 66,53,800).

GLADA had made an offer for sale through e-auction five residential plots (206 to 325 sq mtr) in Sector 39 on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road, one institutional site in Dugri, Phase II, Urban Estate, three SCFs, 12 SCOs, 16 booths and two “atta chakki” sites in Dhandari Kalan, Phase I and II, four SCOs and one shop in Dhandari Kalan, Phase III, and four SCOs in Dhandari Kalan, Phase IV.

In addition, GLADA was to sell five SCFs and seven booths in Sector 39 on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road, 15 booths in Dugri, Phase II, Urban Estate, along with five SCOs and five shops in the Old Courts complex near Fountain Chowk.
