LUDHIANA: The city police claimed to have nabbed a Naxal here today.

The city police claimed to have nabbed a Naxal here today. Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Bihar, is said to have been involved in Naxalite activities in his home state.

The police said Pankaj, along with other Naxals, was involved in some Naxalite activities and he was also facing a kidnap and criminal conspiracy case registered at the Patepur police station, Bihar.

The police said he had recently come to Ludhiana and was staying in the Meharban area. He had been wanted by the Bihar police from a long time.
