Mandi Ahmedgarh, Feb 28

To create awareness among residents regarding importance of donating blood, several non-governmental organisations held a seminar and rally today.

Rally was flagged off by Ahmedgarh SDM Vikramjeet Singh Panthey and former Municipal Council (MC) president Ravinder Puri presided over the concluding session.

The rally commenced from Grain Market and concluded at Gandhi Chowk. Students and teachers of various educational institutes carried placards to highlight benefits of donating blood.

Principal Jaswant Singh and Aman Dhand presided over the seminars held at Government College, Karamsar, and Victoria College for Girls, Ahmedgarh, respectively.

Dr Sunit Hind and Arun Goyal were the keynote speakers during the event. Speakers, including Jaswant Singh, Aman Dhand, Dr Sunit Hind, Arun Goyal, MC president Suraaj Mohammad, chairman SWO Dr Rajinder Mittal, project convener Tarsem Garg, Balwinder Verma and Sahil Garg appealed the members of various organisations to donate blood for a noble cause.
