Now, club to help distressed farmers

MANDI AHMEDGARH: With intent to enable peasants avail various facilities from time to time, office bearers of the Jartauli Multi Purpose Cooperative Agricultural Sabha Limited have resolved to establish a farmer’s club at the village.

With intent to enable peasants avail various facilities from time to time, office bearers of the Jartauli Multi Purpose Cooperative Agricultural Sabha Limited have resolved to establish a farmer’s club at the village.

Decision to organise the body was taken during a meeting of members of the society presided over by Barinder Singh. Jagpal Singh vice president proposed the event.

Paying gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for waivering loans worth around Rs 26.6 lakh of 52 farmers, the constituents of the body demanded that members of SC and BC categories should also be allowed similar waiver.

Ranvir Singh, Swaranjit Singh, Pritam Kaur and Joginder Singh were also present on the occasion.
