Shun politics based on caste, says PPI (D)

LUDHIANA: Under the state presidentship of Ramnath Sunda, a state-level meeting of the People Party of India (PPI) (Democratic) was organised at the circuit house.

Ludhiana, December 9

Under the state presidentship of Ramnath Sunda, a state-level meeting of the People Party of India (PPI) (Democratic) was organised at the circuit house. He confirmed that Election Commission had given recognition to the PPI in October 2018 and presently PPI (democratic) was participating in assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Sunda said in the present times, the Indian democracy was at stake. Caste-based discrimination is increasing day by day.

Instead of making secular India of constitutional values, most of the political parties were playing the game of political mobilisation on the basis of particular religion, he said.

In the meeting, famous Ayurvedist Dr Brijesh Kumar Bangar was elected as the state general secretary of the PPI (D) Punjab unit. Dr Bangar showed his gratitude among party and party leaders for giving this opportunity. Dr.Bangar assured that he will give his best to make the party stronger in Punjab region for Lok Sabha 2019 election. Vice President Hansraj Samra said we came in politics in a democratic way. — TNS
