Ludhiana, August 14

Students of Spring Dale Senior Secondary School excelled in the Punjab School Zonal Games organised by the Education Department here today.

Players from the school emerged winners in the boys’ U-14 category in handball and qualified for the district-level tournament. In the final, they outplayed Sacred Heart School, Sahnewal.

They also romped home victorious in the U-17 section in volleyball. In the final, they defeated USPC Jain School. On the basis of this achievement, they were also through to the district-level competition.

Avinash Kaur Walia and Kamalpreet Kaur, managing director and deputy director, respectively, of the school along with principal Anil Kumar Sharma congratulated the students on this outstanding achievement. They also wished them success in the district-level competitions.
