Teej celebrated at PCTE

Ludhiana: Punjab College of Technical Education organised a cultural event ‘Rangeela gabru and soni mutiyaar’ competition to celebrate Teej and bring students closer to their culture.

Punjab College of Technical Education organised a cultural event ‘Rangeela gabru and soni mutiyaar’ competition to celebrate Teej and bring students closer to their culture.

The event commenced with a consumer hub wherein students from different courses, including bachelor of computer applications, bio-technology, journalism, BCom and fashion designing set up food and game stalls.

Rangeela gabru and sohni mutiyaar comprised three rounds. The event was a huge success as students gave enthusiastic performances. Adorned in magnificent attire, students looked stunning as they walked the ramp.

Anmoldeep Singh, MBA first year student was awarded with rangeela gabru title and sohni mutiyaar title went to Drishti from MBA first year. 

Heena Kalra, faculty member, PCTE said, “The youth is inclined towards westernisation and it is a step to promote Punjabi culture amongst them.” Over 100 students participated in the event.
