The CBI today registered a preliminary enquiry (PE) against Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and others in connection with alleged irregularities in AAP government’s social media campaign “Talk to AK”. It also registered PE in the appointment of Saumya Jain, AAP minister Satyendra Jain’s daughter, who was appointed as adviser to Delhi government’s Mohalla Clinic project, sources said.

In its complaint, the Delhi Vigilance Department alleged that a consultant of a well-known public relations company was hired to promote “Talk to AK” (Talk to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal) campaign and a proposal of Rs 1.5 crore was prepared, said sources. The project was passed despite objections from the Principal Secretary, they said.

Sisodia tweeted, “Welcome Modiji. Take the challenge. I’ll wait for your CBI at my home and office tomorrow.” Kejriwal also hit back: “Wow Modiji! You take bribe and register cases against us. Steal and also be audacious. This is why I call you a coward. When you are losing Goa and Punjab, you’ve started CBI game.” — TNS
