Ludhiana, July 15
The Punjab Sports Department will organise sub-division-level kabaddi tournaments (national style) in Ludhiana from July16 to 19 on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary celebration of Guru Nanak Dev.
These tournaments will be held in the Under-14, U-18 and Under-25 (boys and girls) categories.
District Sports Officer Ravinder Singh said matches would be played at Threeke village, Khasi Kalan and Raikot on July 16 and 17. The remaining matches will be played at Salempura village, Khanna, Samrala and Rampur on July 18 and 19.
He appealed to players to bring all documents with them on the day of the events. The winners will also participate in the district-level tournament to be held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.
