Radical Sikh leader Baljit Singh Daduwal on Wednesday rejected the allegations levelled against him by the SAD and sought an impartial probe into “how Sukhbir Badal and his brother-in-law Bikram Singh Majithia amassed massive assets over the last one decade”.

Talking to the media here, Daduwal said: “Sukhbir’s charges against me are nothing but lies. I have no connection with the ISI. He is talking of the ISI transferring Rs 16 crore into my bank account. I am open to a probe. You will find there is not even a single entry of Rs 1 crore in my account. The Akalis are spreading false propaganda, as they stand exposed.”

He said he had been performing “kar sewa” of five gurdwaras and devotees from India and abroad send him donations. He said lakhs of rupees were spent on the construction of gurdwara buildings and propagation of Sikhism, but still not even once Rs 1 crore had been deposited in his account.

He claimed that now Sukhbir was labeling him an ISI agent, while earlier he had offered him the post of Jathedar on November 6, 2015. Daduwal also denied having met Capt Amarinder Singh prior to the tabling of Justice Ranjit Singh Commission report in the Vidhan Sabha.

Daduwal also targeted the CM, accusing him of "supporting the Badals by not initiating action against them" despite their indictment by the panel report.
