SAD (A) president Simranjeet Singh Mann today said the decision to end Insaaf Morcha, which was called off around 10 months ago, was taken only after all leaders supported Dhian Singh Mand. “It was a consensus decision-making,” he said.

It is worth mentioning here that during Bargari shaheedi samagam yesterdy, several leaders aired their views against the decision to lift the last year’s morcha.

He said, “At the time of calling off this morcha, the state government had given us assurance of delivering justice. But in the last 10 months, the state government has adopted a half-hearted approach to punish those guilty of sacrilege and those who killed innocent protesters at Behbal Kalan.”

If justice is not given to the victims in the coming days, we will announce future course of action, said Dhian Singh Mand. “It was the end of the first phase of Insaaf Morcha. If justice is not given, the state should get ready for the next phase of the morcha,” said Mand.
