The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) team clinched the overall title in the 63rd All India Police Athletics Championship, while the Punjab team finished second and Kerala finished third here today.

Karnal, November 30
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) team clinched the overall title in the 63rd All India Police Athletics Championship, while the Punjab team finished second and Kerala finished third here today.
CRPF finished with 34 medals (12 gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze) while Punjab Police won 29 medals, including 10 gold. Kerala finished a distant third with five gold medals.
Sapna of Rajasthan Police was adjudged the best female athlete, while Munish Rawat of Uttrakhand Police was named the best male athlete.
In the discuss throw today, Punjab Police’s Baljinder Singh and Prabhjot Singh won gold and silver respectively, while Naresh Kumar of CRPF secured the bronze medal. Reena of Haryana Police won gold in women’s high jump, while Tintu ND of Kerala won silver. Navpreet Kaur of Punjab and Sumitra of CRPF won bronze medal jointly.
