Lifter Jhilli bags bronze in junior world championships

Indian lifter Jhilli Dalabehera (in pic) bagged the bronze medal in the 2018 IWF Junior World Weightlifting Championships at Tashkent. Jhilli Dalabehera lifted 167kg (75kg+92kg) in the 48kg category to finish third.  She is the second woman lifter after Saikhom Mirabai Chanu to win a medal in the junior world championships (2013).

The Indian U-16 football team played out a 1-1 draw against North Korea U-16s in their last match of the four-nation Hua Shan Cup CFA International Youth Football Tournament in Wei Nan City, China. After North Korea made it 1-0 in the 75th minute, the Indian colts scored the equaliser through Vikram Pratap Singh in the 77th minute.
