Bathinda, August 14

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Malwa zone-1 president Narinder Sandhu Notti on Tuesday held a press conference and announced his support to Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

He accused Arvind Kejriwal, the central leadership of the party and a few leaders from Punjab of misguiding party members.

He said the politics of changing Leader of the Opposition is going on in the state and it would prove disastrous for the party.

He termed the removal of Sukhpal Singh Khaira from post of Leader of the Opposition through tweet as wrong.

He claimed that a few leaders from Punjab were misguiding Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.

Narinder Sandhu Notti added that there was nothing wrong in demanding full autonomous body for Punjab and Sukhpal Singh Khaira was fighting for the rights of the people of the state.

Narinder said he had returned from Canada just a few days ago. During meetings held there, NRIs also supported fighting for the rights of Punjab, he added.

He also stated that apart from money, Punjabis had given their time to establish the party.

Terming the Bathinda rally of Sukhpal Khaira right, he said there were no workers from other parties, but NRIs in large number attended the rally and AAP workers had arranged funds for it.

Resham Singh Arniwala, Jaswinder Singh Lambi and others were present during the press conference.
