BFC students shine in Pbi varsity BSc exams

BATHINDA: Students of Baba Farid College (BFC) have secured 12 merit positions in the BSc (Biotechnology) exams, the results of which were announced by Punjabi University.

Students of Baba Farid College (BFC) have secured 12 merit positions in the BSc (Biotechnology) exams, the results of which were announced by Punjabi University.

According to the merit list, Dawinder Sidhu, Prabhjot Kaur and Amandeep Kaur bagged the first, second and third (merit) positions, respectively, while Muskan Choudhary bagged the fifth position in the BSc (Biotech) second semester.

Similarly, Vanita and Pankaj Garg bagged the first and second positions, respectively, in the merit list of BSc (Biotech) fourth semester while Bhupinder Singh got the fifth position in the BSc (Biotech) fourth semester.

Besides, students of BSc (Biotech) sixth semester got excellent results by bagging five merit positions out of the five merits declared by Punjabi University, Patiala.

Moumita Ghosh of BSc (Biotech) sixth semester has topped the merit list by bagging the first position followed by Gurunayat Kaur Sabharwal, Anamika Singla, Manisha Rani Panghal and Hardeep Singh who bagged the second, third, fourth and fifth positions, respectively, in the university merit list of BSc (Biotech) sixth semester.

Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, BFGI, congratulated the students, teachers and principal of BFC.

He said, “Our students have made us proud with their extraordinary results. Our primary objective is to make all the students employable and capable enough to deal with industry challenges. Their exceptional results is the outcome of special efforts made by the biotech Department.”
