New Bathinda IMA office-bearers elected

BATHINDA: The Bathinda unit of Indian Medical Association unanimously elected many of its office bearers here yesterday.

The Bathinda unit of Indian Medical Association unanimously elected many of its office bearers here yesterday.

While Dr Prem Verma, Dr Ashwani Goyal and Dr Puneet Kumar were chosen as joint secretaries, Dr Deepak Bansal was chosen as finance secretary. Dr Satish Verma, Dr Amit Aggarwal, and Dr Saurabh Gupta were elected vice-presidents.

Dr Parneet Singh Brar would hold the post of secretary general. The unit will now elect its president for which the election observers had received a total of three nominations, of which Dr Neelesh Bansal withdrew his candidature. Now Dr Vikas Chabbra and Dr Sushil Garg are left in the fray and elections to the post of the president will be held on November 28 at Dunes Club. — TNS
